Techtra's study trip to Sweden: focusing on additive manufacturing technology

The team from Techtra International Relations and Knowledge and Technology Transfer visited Sweden from February 5th to 7th, 2024, to deepen their expertise in additive manufacturing and establish partnerships for the establishment of an Additive Manufacturing Competence Center. During the trip, our team collaborated with excellent partners such as Amexci, SAAB, and RISE.

The trip consisted of two main parts. Firstly, the Techtra team visited the Amexci headquarters in Karlskoga, where they had the opportunity to learn about the company's market knowledge and practices in additive manufacturing. Amexci generously offered to share its expertise and training materials with the Techtra team, as well as support in establishing the future Competence Center.

In the second part, the team participated in a meeting with the Research Institutes of Sweden (RISE) in Gothenburg. RISE welcomed the collaboration with Techtra with great interest, as they already have experience in a European-level "Competence Center" project, which is why they encourage Techtra's participation in the field.

During the discussions, an agreement was reached for the two companies to collaborate in other areas as well, and they are open to joint research projects in the future.

The study trip proved successful in strengthening relationships and knowledge sharing, promoting Techtra's additive manufacturing initiatives.
