Hungarian Business Angel Network (HUNBAN) members had the opportunity to participate in the HSUP Demo Day 2023 event, where Peter Fehérvári, Head of our Knowledge and Technology Transfer Division, represented Techtra as a jury member.

The HSUP Demo Day took place on July 12, 2023, at the Halász Gedeon Event Center in Kápolnásnyék, where the best project teams from the third year of the Hungarian Startup University Program presented themselves to the professional jury.

The event was organized under the Neumann János Program established by the National Innovation Agency. The Demo Day consisted of several exciting parts, including introductory pitches where the top twenty teams out of 194 project teams from 31 partner institutions had the opportunity to present the content and development results of their projects.

The jury, composed of ten members including recognized and experienced professionals, evaluated projects in two sections. Péter Fehérvári served as a jury member in Section A, where three projects stood out as exceptional. The recognized projects were as follows:

RELECTRO – TRECH: The team focuses on the field of rehabilitation. By utilizing artificial intelligence and modern sensor networks, they can detect and correct improper knee joint movements. The system is customizable to individual needs and assists therapists in maximizing patient development.

HOLOSAPIENS: The HoloSapiens team aims to support medical education using augmented and mixed reality. They employ 3D holographic technology to create interactive and immersive learning experiences. Their goal is to enhance educational effectiveness and reduce learning time.

KOMPOSZTFARM: Komposztfarm focuses on the recycling of food waste that is unsuitable for human consumption. Their goal is to produce high-quality nutrient solutions rich in microbial life. The team emphasizes providing sustainable knowledge for both farmers and individuals.

Thank you for allowing us to be part of this exciting event, where we could learn about extraordinary projects and contribute to the introduction of these young, emerging teams.
