TECHTRA came under the auspices of the Board of Trustees of the István Széchenyi University Foundation

The TECHTRA Technology Transfer Institute came under the auspices of the István Széchenyi University Foundation Board of Trustees. TECHTRA will strengthen the incubation holding of the board of trustees.

As of January 1, 2023, the TECHTRA Technology Transfer Institute came from the auspices of the Ministry of Technology and Industry under the Board of Trustees of the István Széchenyi University Foundation. TECHTRA’s role is to help the board of trustees’ incubation holding together with HUMDA Lab Non-profit Ltd. and ZalaZONE InnoTech Non-profit Ltd. The purpose of the incubation holding is the consolidation, further development, and utilization of knowledge, as well as research, development and innovation. TECHTRA can connect to these goals through corporate strategic tasks, such as the National Laboratory of Cooperative Technologies, their independent research, transfer activities, data-based decision support, education, and training activities, as well as their business development capabilities.

The key industrial innovation projects of the incubation holding of the Trustees of the István Széchenyi University Foundation are e-fuels, hydrogen and DAC, drone technology, digital interface, control systems, formula student, and energy management.
