Cooperation between TECHTRA and UIIN

As part of their recent collaboration, the TECHTRA Technology Transfer Institute and the Dutch University Industry Innovation Network (UIIN) are organizing a joint conference on May 9-11 in Budapest. UIIN is a knowledge centre founded in 2012, the aim of which is to successfully promote knowledge transfer between universities, industries, entrepreneurs, and students. UIIN also conducts its own research, organizes events, and provides training and consulting services to its community of more than 80 organizations and 500 individual members. The organization has been organizing European conferences since 2013. UIIN organizes an event in Budapest for the first time.

The aim of the 2023 conference is to realize the interaction and cooperation between universities, the industry, entrepreneurs and committed university students by sharing their experiences and presenting their insights. Keynote speakers at the event include: Cristina Riesen, Founder & CEO of Educreators Foundation, Diana El-Azar, Senior Director of Strategic Communications at Minerva Project, Emma Salgård Cunha, Commercialisation Manager (AHSS) at University of Cambridge, Kelly Sexton, Associate Vice President for Research and Innovation Partnerships at the University of Michigan, Philipp Gerbert, General Managing Director at TUM Venture Labs, Robert Giezendanner-Thoben, Director of Industry Affairs at EPFL and Roberta Malee Bassett, Global Lead for Tertiary Education at the World Bank.
